Tip Your Waiter Productions is a Chicago-based performance company dedicated to cross-disciplinary work, the involvement of and commitment to different types of local working artists, and a transparency of lives led as working-class artists.
Instead of developing an “ensemble,” why don’t we open up the floor to anyone committed to making our collective work better?
Instead of founding a “theatre company,” why not take advantage of all different types of arts making up live performance, including playwrighting, music, poetry, acting, visual arts, and media?
Instead of trying to hide the fact that young artists lead a double life of work and play, why don’t we at least be honest, and try and include that as an essential part of the journey?

Tip Your Waiter Productions celebrates local artists with day jobs by catalyzing the creation of new works from all disciplines.
