God
Is Love,
as we’ve been taught —
suspending all Logic and Reason
for Its sake.
While Forgiveness
seeps into the voids:
blanket amnesty
for all manner of Truth.
So now I appeal
to a Higher Power —
that which can suspend Love
for the sake of Reason.
