Before I begin, one more shameless plug before our fervid string of one-night-only events comes to a close:

Now then.
Less than a week after The Game of Contact happened, which inspired me to get up and go, go, go, I feel like I need a vacation from it again. But it’s only because today I have a headache, which may very well be a symptom of not enough sleep at night. I’ve been getting plenty of sleep, but this weekend most of it has been during daylight hours.
Not that I would trade this weekend for sleep at night – Theatre of Women 4 was outstanding. An even better crop of short plays this time than for Theatre of Women 3, and I was very impressed with that one. Fine writing coupled with fine direction and fine performances made for a very fine hour and a half of theatre. (I still can’t believe they crammed eight plays into less than 100 minutes.)

Yes, yes, it’s true. I will continue to do it every chance I get. And I’ll be back to sleeping at night in no time.
And thanks to my staying up Friday night, Saturday night looked like this:
I was hoping to use this post to talk about The Game of Contact last Monday night, but I’m still tired and my head still hurts, so I’m going to put it off till later this week. Typical chronic procrastinator, I know, I know. Lay off.
Until next time, space cadets…
