Since returning from my road trip from California back to Chicago, two things have happened that warrant their own blogs. But I wanted to write about the road trip before writing about anything else. But now enough time has passed since everything happened that I feel comfortable squashing it all into one post. But heads up — it will be long and probably inconsistent.

No, we are not dead!

The blog of the century has (obviously) been on hold while all contributing editors sort life out for a moment or two. We’ve all had a crazy-ass summer, and now that it’s winding down, things are settling. The big thing was Trevor’s move to Chicago. Tomorrow night, there will be another big thing.

All things big and small will be written about as soon as we get some time to think. Personally, I have a few things to say about the choice of radio stations in the middle of nowhere, but shortly I will also have to say a few things about the event tomorrow.

So…this isn’t a “promise we’ll update soon!” sort of post, but…okay, maybe it is. But without the promise.
